Yaesu Amateur Radios My preferred equipment. I carry my VX-6r with me almost all the time. Great for listening to Public Safety Dispatchers as well as the local ham repeaters on 2m and 440. Also used for the weather radio.
Amateur Radio Relay League National group for amateur radion in the United States.
Fox River Radio League The local club that I belong to. They do lots of activities and run 2 repeaters with very wide coverage. Also do VE testing, Next Generation activities, Field Day, Hamfest, etc.
Lighting
CandlePower Forums. Discussion forums for every type of flashlight and general illumination tools. Includes a lot of custom made and modified lights as well as not so common commercial lights.
Flashlight News dot Org. News about the flashlight industry.
Flashlight Reviews. Thorough reviews about many, many types of flashlights out there. Including comparative ratings of light throw, output and build quality.
